New High-Tech 112-Slip Marina Opens in North Miami Beach

Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences provides dockage for boats up to 100 feet with full-service amenities

North Miami Beach – South Florida boaters have a brand-new place to call home, in a secure and convenient location with white-glove services and abundant amenities.

The state-of-the-art Marina Palms Yacht Club recently opened at 172nd Street and Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach featuring 112 wet slips for boats between 40 and 100 feet (LOA) and drafts of 10 feet. Located in Maule Lake, just off the Intracoastal Waterway, it takes boaters just 15 minutes to reach the ocean.

The marina is serviced by a highly qualified, bilingual staff including a dock master, dock hands and a concierge to arrange vessel cleaning, maintenance and provisioning. Each slip is wired with ample clean electricity and fiber-optic cabling for voice, data and high-speed internet service. For additional convenience, patrons have access to a well-stocked sundry store and dockside WIFI. The marina also boasts a fuel station with 12,000 gallons of Valvtec high-speed diesel and 12,000 gallons of 91 octane gas.

“Premium dock space is very hard to find in South Florida. There hasn’t been a new marina like this built in over 20 years,” said Jim Bronstien of US Marinas, whose company is managing the facility. “This new marina at Marina Palms is a gem that fills a void from which Miami-Dade has suffered for decades. We’re located at a perfect equidistance from downtown Miami and Ft. Lauderdale with easy access to Haulover Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean just 15 minutes away by boat.”

Bronstien said the marina now has limited space available for daily, monthly and seasonal dockage.

“We have the flexibility for someone who has a need to tie up for a short time, or for someone who needs a more permanent place to keep their boat,” said Bronstien. “Yacht brokers are also welcome if they need a good location for temporary storage.”

Transient daily prices are $2.75 per foot. Monthly and seasonal rates are lower.

Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences is a redevelopment of an old marina that was a popular boating destination dating back to the 1970s and 80s, but since fell into disrepair. It includes two luxury condominium towers overlooking the newly constructed marina. Just under 40 residences remain for sale starting at $950,000.
