The Reserve to Feature New Work by Mark Castator

The Fine Quality of the Art Speaks to Finishes Throughout

Acclaimed American sculptor Mark Castator has been commissioned to create an original work of art for the lobby of The Reserve. Entitled Prana, a Sanskrit word for “life force,” the sculpture takes the form of a graceful brush stroke rendered three dimensionally in blackened steel with mirrored edges. Its installation in the lobby becomes the final note in a composition of impeccably finished interior spaces that collectively serve as the heart and soul of life at The Reserve.

Best known for his medium- and large-scale installations in metal, Castator produces works for a growing list of public and private commissions out of his studio in Boulder, Colorado.

“Mark’s finished works have a quality of refined industrialism that feels at home in a waterfront setting.”

– George Helmstetter,
a Developer of The Reserve at Marina Palms

The inclusion of Prana as the centerpiece of the lobby design is an appropriate coup de gras for a building that places a high priority on quality materials and craftsmanship throughout all of its public and private spaces.

Of the 234 residences in The Reserve at Marina Palms, only 29 remain available. The luxury tower is on track for completion this December.
